The buildings were designed with classical facades using GRC to have a strong identity within the universities in the middle east area. The basis objective in designing the new campus were to provide a prototype campus for others to follow.

The buildings are constructed only on 17% of the total land area and the rest is left as open spaces, green areas as well as sports facilities. The planning divided the site into three basic sections: the educational facilities at the center – the sports facilities at the east side and the students housing at the west side which later turned into more educational facilities. The new campus educational facilities are composed of nine faculties, main library, and the students building.

The faculties buildings are constructed with a total area of around 45000 square meters on a ground and two typical floors with a possibility of horizontal and vertical future extension. The buildings are constructed with a maximum height of ground and three floors according to the codes of 6th of October city. The buildings are separated by vegetated courts which provides higher comfort conditions for students in external spaces.

The students building provides the needed social, cultural spaces for students. The building has an Amphitheatre within the terrace area. The building also provides dining facilities for the students.
