Construction Quality & Craftsmanship
The minarets consist of an inner and outer wall of concrete, so that the casting was by the climbing Formworks (flying shuttering), as the inner core was poured with a height of 4m, and the shuttering was climbing mechanically using hydraulic jacks, the same process for the outer core but with differential height of 8m.

The mosque includes the main dome and a number of secondary domes, as the main dome is 32 m in diameter, 25 m in height, and weighs 500 tons. It was assembled and finished on the ground and then lifted using 12 hydraulic cranes, as the capacity of one crane is about 50 tons, the dome was raised using wires.

Challenges:
The 2 minarets are 140m higher above the upper courtyard and the height of the crescent is 8m to become with a total height 148 m; each one is built upon 1600m2. The maximum height that could be accessible for concrete casting was 60 meters. It was necessary to provide a fixed concrete pump at the required height, and the concrete was distributed using the distributer.
Each minaret includes a metal dome with a load of 120 tons that was assembled and finished on the ground and raised to a height of 140 meters using a 600-ton up lifting crane, 2 tower cranes + a 350-ton ground crane. The severity of the winds and the difficulty of working at a high altitude were other challenges.
Each minaret contains 4 concrete balconies; their design has been changed to metal works for ease of implementation on this high altitude.

Magnificent Design:
The Islamic Cultural Center is one of the most important cultural centers in the Middle East and Africa as well.
It was taken into account while establishing the center to have a rich design and decorated by beautiful trappings to reflect the ancient Egyptian Islamic history and its extension throughout the ages.

The Islamic Cultural Center is distinguished by its 152 stairs, which lead to Mosque of Egypt, that considered one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque is 20 m above the surface of the earth. The upper courtyard of the mosque, he is covered with toughened glass to give an aesthetic shape to the entrance to the mosque.
